// ASCENDIA QUEST PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: August 6, 2026 · Last Updated: August 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Ascendia Quest (“Ascendia Quest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides guided meditation journeys, sound healing frequencies, wellness articles, and related digital content through our website at ascendiaquest.com (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding that information. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy currently applies to the free version of the Platform. As Ascendia Quest introduces premium content and paid subscriptions in the future, this Policy will be updated to reflect any new data collection or processing related to payments and subscription management.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

  • Account information — name, email address, and password, or information provided by a third-party sign-in provider (such as Google or Facebook) if you choose to register that way.
  • Profile information — optional details you add to your profile, such as pronouns, a short bio, and a profile photo.
  • Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support or feedback, including your email address and message content.
  • Donations — if you choose to support Ascendia Quest through a voluntary contribution, your payment is processed by our third-party donation platform (currently Ko-fi). We do not directly collect or store your payment card information.

Information we collect automatically:

  • Usage data — pages visited, content viewed, session duration, and general navigation patterns.
  • Device and browser data — IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — as described in our Cookie Policy, available through the cookie preference banner on our site.

Ascendia Quest does not currently include social or community features that allow users to interact with one another (such as public comments, messaging, or shared profiles). If such features are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account;
  • Provide access to meditation journeys, sound frequencies, and other content;
  • Personalize your experience on the Platform, such as remembering your progress or preferences;
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests;
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Platform;
  • Comply with legal obligations; and
  • In the future, process payments and manage subscriptions for premium content.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Platform, such as our web hosting provider, email service provider, and, in the future, payment processors;
  • Analytics and advertising partners, such as Google, if and when we implement tools like Google Analytics — always in accordance with your cookie consent choices;
  • Legal authorities, if required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or respond to a valid legal request;
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — you will be notified of any such change.

5. Data Security and Retention

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide you the Platform. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, as described in Section 7.

6. International Data Transfers

The Platform is hosted using service providers located in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. If you access the Platform from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or elsewhere outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a different country than your own. We take steps to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your information;
  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your information; and
  • Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent, such as cookies.

Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Residents of California have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Ascendia Quest does not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@ascendiaquest.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@ascendiaquest.com so we can remove it.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and, where applicable, measure performance. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings available on our website. For more details, please refer to our Cookie Policy.

10. Third-Party Links and Content

Portions of our content, such as select meditation videos, may also be published on third-party platforms, including YouTube and Instagram. Your interactions with our content on those platforms are governed by the respective privacy policies of YouTube (Google) and Instagram (Meta), not by this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
